Paula,
There were no private persons in my file before I ran the
Advance Set Living. Only two people withou birth dates.
I had been entering cemetery data and not every burial
had a birth date accompanying the death date. The first
I knew about it was when these two persons showed up
as Private when I ran a simple descendancy report.
Legacy also placed the words "Still living" in Notes.

I haven't changed any settings and don't know what is
checked or not checked that would cause people
determined to be living to be marked Private. When I
have time I will hunt around.

As for the logic, if there is no birth date there is no way to
calculate if a person is over 120 years from today's date.
But you would think the program would pick up on a death
date. -- Alice

If this is a problem only for "no birth date entered" and "private"
individuals, that sounds more like a bug in the Advance Set Living logic...
Like maybe the "private" part is the root of the problem...?
