That is the way it worked for me, and boy do I wish I could change it!
AND I put in the original father (second husband adopted first one's
children) just for completeness' sake, and he still comes up when I
click on the family even though the second one is the preferred. If you
figure out how to get the kids to show up only once, please let me know.

children are shown twice, with the second entry showing they are a half
child by the other male. I doubt this is the way it is supposed to work.
Could someone walk me through how you add the adoptive parent C? Thanks.
