I understand your logic, but what the query is actually doing is to find all
individuals that have an event that isn't a census. So if, for instance
there is an Occupation event and a Census event, then you will still get a
match because Occupation isn't Census.

I think what you have to do is to search for individuals who DO have a
census event and Tag everyone on the search list. Then do a new search for
all those who don't have that Tag set.

although I am getting emails from the list.

Here is my question:

I am trying to find all people that have no census events.

Search for Individual event name not equal to census
My event name says Census

Yet I get results that have census events
