Hi again,
I wrote too quickly. You are trying to find everyone WITH a cause of death, so you can just follow the first step I outlined. Search for all individuals with an event called 'cause of death' (or whatever your event is called). That will give you the list.
I went back to your original query, and you *did* say "everyone with a cause of death event", and we all assumed you meant cause of death field. Sorry for the confusion.
Brenda.

I guess we all should have asked the question that Lill Ann posed, and we would have solved your problem sooner. When you choose "cause of death" in the search screen, the program only looks to the "cause of death field", which is part of the Medical Notes tab on an individual. If your causes of death are not there, then, of course, you will have all of your individuals listed in a No cause of death report.

So, you must instead search for all individuals with an event called cause of death (or whatever you have named it). Then tag those individuals with a unique tag. Then do a search for all individuals who DO NOT have that tag, and it will give you the list of all individuals without a cause of death.
I suggest that, if practical, you move the cause of death from an event to the actual field. It will make searching easier in the future.

Kind regards,
Brenda (your daughter's neighbour!)

Patricia,

Since you have not been able to get the list, may I ask where "cause of
death" is recorded?
Is it under notes/medical/cause of death.

Lill Ann
