Because of the lack of index, I find the List format more convenient, but use Outlook Expresses Message Rules tool (on the Tools menu) to automatically move email to a specific folder. That way the messages keep out of the way of other mail, and you have an index in the Legacy folder.

The rule I use is:
Apply this rule after the message arrives

Where the Subject line contains 'LegacyUG'

Move it to the Legacy folder

Cheers,

Rob

Joshua,

This has come up before. With the list server that we're using, that
option isn't available.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Several weeks ago, I switched from "message format" to "digest format" for
the Legacy User Group messages. I was getting flooded with messages, and
thought that one digest a day would be great. But I find the digest hard to
use, because there is no "list of subject lines" or "table of contents" at
the beginning of the digest. Can that be added? (JewishGen's emailing list
has a good table of contents at the top of each digest, if you need an
example.)
