I am sorry for being unclear the last time. IMHO there is NO way to sort the
output of addresses, directly from Legacy. I had forgotten, I only this last
year entered mine in Legacy. I have been using MyAddressList for 10-15 years,
and never checked what Legacy Address could do/mot do.
In all fairness, the LUG does not generally answer any questions in the
negative, hoping someone else knows how.
I re-looked at the address print pages, no sort choices of any kind exist. This
goes hand in hand with very little sorting choices in reports in general. (No
sort by date,

Subject: Address Label Sort - by State

Hoping that someone can give me specific steps to be able to sort my Address
Label base by States rather than print out the entire list. I want about 10
specific states. Please list step by step. I have the latest update.

These are the steps I have followed:
1) Reports
2) Address List Labels
3) Address Type - All
4) Sort Order - have tried them all, but unable to sort by state - this is
where I need help!
4) Checked - Include only tagged addresses (these are what I want) and
Include private addresses

Under "What to Print" have checked
Name
Address 1
Address 2
City, St, Postal

But, still I am unable to print specific states. This is what I would like
to do - print by STATE.

Help appreciated!
