Hi again Jim,
That's not quite what I said. Not knowing where you were coming from I perhaps gave more weight than necessary to the limitations. A genealogy database isn't much good if you can't get things out. Legacy is very good.
If the background data you have in Legacy is in events and notes you can print it all. If it is in sources, then you can set your options so that it all prints. It's only photos that can't all be printed in a report.
If you use a Descendant book report or Multiple Line of Descent report you'll cover all the individuals in your database relevant to a particular branch of your tree.
You may need a tree to print it. I printed a Multiple Line of Descent report earlier this year for my mother's side of the family and it is almost 450 pages. I mostly have distributed it as a pdf file on CD along with many other reports, charts and photos - but one cousin asked for a hard copy (and paid printing costs:-).

Cathy, Thank you very much for your suggestions. I probably am not advanced enough to take advantage of all you suggest. I guess I will muddle on for a while longer. It seems the only way another person can see everything in a data base is to have Legacy on their computer and for me to copy the entire family group and send a CD to them; but I don't have a way to share the total data base with other family members. For families without a computer, there is no way to convey all the background data that I have in the family groups. Thank you very much. Jim
