Mary, Aside from the relationship calculator, do you want all the notes about child "A" to show twice in Legacy descendant reports from the grandparents? If not, pick just one set of parents (bio parents would be more accurate) and explain the adoption in notes.
My workaround for non-Legacy wall charts is to include an adopted relative with a name variation and Memo explanation, but leave the descendants connected to the bio branch only.
