I have a little problem with sentence structure for the following case:
Male-A had a son (Son-A) with Female-B and they never married. (I have connected
this couple in the marriage section as "having a relationship").
Male-A marries 2 yrs later to Female-C.
Male-A & Female-C have 2 children.
When I do a descendent report for Male-A, I obtain the following:
**********
1. Male-A was born on November 2, 1912 in Blackwell, Kay Co, OK.
Male-A had a relationship with Female-C about 1930. Female-C was born about
1912.
The child from this marriage was:
[I would prefer to have "marriage" replaced with "relationship"]
----> This was not a marriage, but a relationship <-----
+ 2 M i. Son-A was born in March 1931.
Male-A married Female-C on June 1933 in Nardin, Kay Co, OK. Female-C was born
on October 1912 in Blackwell, Kay Co, OK.
Children from this marriage were:
Child-1
Child-2
*********
I have changed all of the placed in the marriage form from "marriage" to
"relationship" and when I do a Descendent Modified Register report, "Marriage"
is always present describing Male-A & Female-C before the child's name appears.
Any suggestions???
