Aren't there other issues if you do this? I seem to recall the children get duplicated in the family view if half kids are shown - maybe this is only if you have "show half children" ticked. I guess it's not a problem if you change the relationship back after printing the report.

Hi Anne,

Only if you link all the children to the marriage you want to make the FGS for. You can give the children different status or different relationship to father/relationship to mother tags after you've given them a second set of parents.

It's not a particularly elegant solution and you may not want to leave the link in place for other reports - but you've met the difference between genealogy and family history.

To set Child Status and Relationships, right click on a child in family view and choose Children's Settings.
