My "default" location for pictures as entered in Customise> Options> 
Locations is the Legacy/Pictures folder.  The maps were stored in a 
subfolder of this folder.  However, it turns out that's not relevant.  ALL 
picture links to Locations were not transferred, irrespective of where the 
pictures were stored.  I've re-entered all the links - fortunately not too 
many.
