I often want to export details from my file to a GEDCOM so I can pass on to someone else or put somewhere public. Depending where it is going I will usually either remove all details on LIVING people or also change all their names to LIVING. Only problem is that this also changes my own name to LIVING.
Could there be an option to not alter my own name when exporting to a GEDCOM. Before someone tells me the obvious, yes I know that I can export to another LEGACY file and edit that before exporting again to a GEDCOM. This is what I do now but I am trying to save this intermediate step.
