Hi,
You can do what you want with the "suppress details of living people" feature without the "change name to Living". This is a little different to the Private feature as it affects the reporting of everyone in your database that is marked Living. Private affects only those marked Private whether living or dead.
See Report Options - Format Tab.
Also for file export see the same options in the dialogue boxes for Gedcom and Legacy File.
No doubt the options are also there for web page creation but I'm not so familiar with that section of the program.

I have asked about privatization before and found how to do that (thanks everyone) but now I need to know if I can privatize my living people but still keep their names showing? For example:
