On the other hand, if they already have Legacy, you may just be trying to send your file (ora part of it). It sounds like you may be copying your file when it is open on your computer. Close Legacy before copying your File to the CD.
Don't forget to copy the pictures separately as they are not stored within the Legacy file. The Legacy file only holds the path to them (what folder you keep them in).
You may need to explain to your recipients how to enable Legacy to find the pictures again using Options > Customise > Location Tab - Test all Mulimedia paths.
Once you've helped Legacy find one photo in a folder, it will find the rest in that folder.
