I see Marie is referring to the type of charts one sees in books on the Royal family. This is known as an English Drop Line Descendant chart and to my mind it is almost essential for family history research. It is especially useful when sending a pedigree to a researcher who is unfamiliar with the family as one can see at a glance just who is who. Dear Legacy programmers, could we PLEASE have an English Drop Line Descendant chart. I dearly love Legacy for data entry but I have to export a Gedcom to another programme to make a chart and it is a real nuisance. If the programmers will consider letting us have one it will need to include BDM dates and places and be paper friendly, none of this business of 5 persons only to a landscape A4 page. Boxes are not necessary but might be an option. Ever hopeful, Pam
