Lill Ann, Thanks - although I'm not working on Child Status, I did go back into the Relationship to F/M and it had the same long button at the bottom. However, it will not let me combine a record with the Legacy blank record. I did try this many months ago - glad I had done that - would hate to think I had been doing the corrections the old fashioned way all this time for naught! ;) --Paula
