Yes, W98/ME machines for sure require installs. Sorry not to be more clear, I was referring to swapping our reader to different W2KPro machines (not a problem for any USB 2.0 flash drive I've seen) that we have in our closest library and here at home. Haven't tried it on our one XP machine.
