Well, Geoff at Millennia fixed the greying out for me; he suggested deleting 
the ances.usr file from C:\program files\legacy, and now the siblings are 
included - one step forward. Having done that, I then couldn't try Sherry's 
tip of clicking the reset button. But thanks, Geoff.

So all I need to ask for now is if there is any means of including those 
siblings' notes, to make my day!

I'm still interested in the reason that there are three descendant reports 
to only one ancestor one, though; was that present from the beginning? I'm 
just curious
