I guess you could do that. I'm not very familiar with GEDCOMs and find them a pain to read so I'd find that more tedious - and many would find it impossible as they don't have the necessary computer skills to open a Gedcom in a text editor and search it - but you would also find the term in sources I guess. I must remember that next time I'm wanting to search sources.
