Hi Lloyd,

What has probably happened is that you either have two nearly identical databases and you opened the wrong one or you opened this session by restoring from a backup that was made before the changes. Legacy will not do what you say happens. The Access database has no memory of things changed.

I used to have my burial data listed in the events list under Cemetery, but a week ago I changed it to Location. I listed the data as, City, County, State, Cemetery. It took me about 4 days working to get it all changed and delete the Cemetery event. To my amazement, yesterday I found every one of them had changed back to the Cemetery event with the name of the cemetery and the location was only City, County, State. My second database has not been affected yet. White changing the info., I would make a backup every hour or so and when I finished. I have been using the same data since I changed the info. After seeing what I had, I went to my backup and loaded it, but it was the same as the original.
Anyone have any ideas on what happen? Please respond to me privately, as I have unsubscribe from the List. Luckly, I have kept my RootsMagic data up to date, so I just started adding new data to it. I am not intending to go through the process of changing all that Cemetery data back as it was.

Regards,

Lloyd
