Joan, I've had one other user report something like this happening. It seemed that the recorded dates in some instances were related to the event date. I haven't been able to duplicate this under normal use. Dates that I enter are staying as entered.
Is there a correlation with the event date? Could it be a date that the source was recorded by the court or other "documenting authority" and you used that as recorded date? Have you had any other problems with Legacy? Did you see this happen after running a check/repair? Has your computer shut down unexpectedly while you were using Legacy? Which build of Legacy are you using (go to Help > General Information or Internet > Check for Legacy Update)? Thanks for using Legacy. I will bring up a source to use it for another entry. I find the recorded date of July 1, 1913. Obviously I wasn't using Legacy in 1913. Is anyone else having this problem? How can I find all the instances where this is happening so I can change it? Thanks for any help.
