Ok, tell you what. I did what you asked, sort of. But it is *Individual Report" not Linage Report. I apologize for that. It is dinner time here. If you are still interested in this, despite it being Individual Report instead of Linage Report, email me back. I will do this tomorrow (I need to be clear in my instructions) Sherry might want me to take this off list, and we can. Let me know.

I don't see how to do more than select the starting person, number of generations and whether or not to include siblings. If you can show me how to do this, it would be awesome! Thanks, --Paula Ok, I think I have it. Daughter to Mother-to-Mother etc., It involves tagging, but seems to work. In my sample, I go back four generations. How far back are you interested in going? My strategy doesn't work ad infinitum. I think it can be done, but needs a little work to accomplish. Robert Robert, And then print what report? I just checked, and you cannot run the Lineage Report for a selected set of Individuals (e.g., tagged). You run it for one Individual and it pulls that Individual's paternal lineage. So, Kathie, I'm pretty sure the answer is "no" for maternal lineage. I would like the Lineage Report to be able to be run for the lineage between any two people (direct line descent/ascent), whether the blood line is maternal for 3 generations and then paternal back 6 or more or whatever mix. I think the logic is there because the application knows how to indicate direct lines on the screen. --Paula Would picking the oldest mother and tagging them mother to daughter (descendents) work? Robert Is there a way to create a lineage report of a maternal direct line (mother to mother, etc.) rather than the paternal one?
