Well, Jack, a fair bit, I'm afraid
Some examples, one from each country to keep it short

In Scotland: Highland = Caithness, Sutherland, Ross & Cromarty, Inverness and Nairn
In Wales: Dyfed = Cardigan, Carmathen, and Pembroke
In England: Cambridge - Cambridge & Huntingdon

There are numbers of others

Warm regards ;-)

Alastair

As a lifelong resident of England, and involved in politics for a lot of
them, could someone tell me what on earth a Supercounty is?
OK the County boundaries were all shunted around in 1973 and then tinkered
with again in 1990s so the PM could reinstate Rutland and, to some extent
bring back the Yorkshire Ridings. But whatb else have I missed?
