Adobe Reader v7 can only be run in Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Unfortunately, the ocx files that are needed to fix the problem with that
ended up breaking earlier versions of Adobe Reader in earlier versions of
Windows. The ocx files work fine in Windows 2000 and Windows XP with
earlier versions of Adobe Reader.

>From what I've heard, Legacy isn't the only program having a conflict with
the new Reader.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Adobe Acrobat and Legacy Problem

Hi Jan,
The latest (Feb 4) version of Legacy has been updated so that pdf output is
now compatible with Acrobat V7. It wasn't previously, as your attachment
indicates. Unfortunately, there now seems to be a problem with some Legacy
pdfs. When opened in earlier Acrobat versions the error you mentioned is
generated. You are not alone, but it only happens sometimes.

I gather that Legacy support is actively trying to determine the cause of
the problem, and would suggest that you (and any others with the problem)
advise Sherry at support what versions of Legacy, Acrobat and Windows you
are using. This will help them diagnose the problem.

Cheers,
Rob
