Hi LouAnn,

I am not too clear about what you are doing here. Are you making several different web pages and saving them in the same file? If so they will over write each other as Legacy uses the RIN numbers to identify the files. I suspect you would end up with something the same as, or similar to the result of using the "Multiple Lines of Descent" option.

If you wish to keep them separate then it is necessary to give each folder a different file name.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [LegacyUG] help with webpages

I need some information about the capabilities of the Legacy webpage
generator. I am having trouble making new webpages for each of several
lines in my database. The files are always named the same, and so when I
upload them to my Geocities site, the new one overrides the old one. So I
end up with the new surname index and table of contents linked to my old
webpage instead the right ones, which are gone, overwritten.

Is there any way to fix this problem?
Thanks so much for any help!

LouAnn in WI
