Very glad that you are now sorted, but would be interested to know the details of the auto find/replace software for headers & footers.
Anything (or nearly) to save labour!

Thanks to everyone who responded to my query on this matter earlier in the
month. Apologies for not acknowledging sooner. I eventually resorted to an
auto find/replace utility to replace Legacy generated headers & footers with
my own.
