The .igi file could be moved to another location so you don't lose what has
been done and that doesn't contain a zero. Then you can start over. I would
think this would work. Someone with more knowledge in the workings of Legacy
can say for sure but this is what I would try.

Subject: [LegacyUG] IGI Search Feature - tiny problem

I thought Glen had a great idea by setting the IGI Search feature

to search the file continuously until it was done, so I did that. After

a few hours of retrieving matches, unbeknownst to me my ISP cut

me off and signed me out. Meantime, while my computer is offline,

IGI Search is faithfully wailing away at the task at hand, finding no

matches (of course), dutifully putting zero after zero into the Matches

field in the data base.

When I discovered what happened I logged on and asked IGI Search

to search again. It recognized it had been down this path before and

finished checking Pass 1 without trying to retrieve any further

information for those persons who had a zero beside their name.

IGI Search believes it has finished the job. I'm only up to the H's,

so every name from H to Z has nothing in the Matches field but

zeros. Is there no choice but to delete the search results one at

a time for each individual with a zero beside the name? -- Alice
