Chances are you have moved them opn your hard drive and Legacy can no
longer find them.  It is easy to fix. Go to Options> Customise >
Locations. Click "Test all multimedia paths".  Any missing pictures
will be identified.  You can then click the approriate buttons to find
them manually or automatically.  Once you point to one picture in a
folder, all the others in that folder will also be found.

If you have renamed individual pictures the above won't work. You need
to go to the individual picture gallery and point to the picture
again, which is fiddly.  So avoid renaming your pictures.
