Bruce, I had this happen to me a week before I installed the latest build to Legacy 5. I thought it was just me and my Windows ME memory hog. I had renamed an already attached picture and went to attach it by its new name; Legacy didn't like it when I opened up the picture editor from family view, so it closed down on me with a run time error. I found I had to reboot the computer before everything smoothed itself out. But for a while, I thought my database was corrupted. Talk about scary moments!
I'm sorry I don't have more detail than that, but this is what prompted me to upgrade to the latest build, despite my worries about the PDF reading capability. I haven't played with photos since!! (Once bitten; twice shy.)
