Patricia, I think I have worked out what may be wrong. If you check the Locations box, say, you get photos for ALL Locations, not just the photos for the Locations associated with that individual, assuming you have also checked Individuals & This Individual.
For what I think you want to do, you should only check the "Individuals" box and the boxes underneath it: "This Individual", and any of "Individual Pictures", "Individual event pictures", "Marriage Pictures", "Marriage event pictures". Don't check "Locations", "Addresses" etc. A limitation is that photos for the Locations (and Sources) associated with an event won't be included, and I don't see a way of including them selectively. Hope this makes sense, and fixes the problem. (Sorry for my erratic typing in my previous post!)
