I donot understand what you mean. What has a witness to do with the people
in a household?
Can you explain further how this feature works?

I switched to Legacy from TMG, as well. I loved Legacy from the beginning,
but there were several TMG features that I missed. After two years, I find
that the only one I'd BEG Legacy to develop is the witness feature. I used
it for the same purpose--censuses. In one click, you could see who the head
of household was, and all the people in that household. Also good for adding
witnesses to marriages, baptisms, and wills. Add my vote for the witness
feature.
