I always use maiden names regardless of the number of marriages. I do believe that this is the most recommended approach.
Jack Smith and Jane Doe had a daughter Mary. She was born Mary Smith and that's the way she is in the database even though her name may have been changed once or many times by marriage.

Hello Listers I have a Catharine ELVIDGE who marries William DIX William dies and she them marries James ROSSITER For her marriage to Rossiter I have her name as DIX
How do I show her previous names of ELVIDGE as a single woman then DIX her first marriage then ROSSITER on the screen
If I use DIX then when I select her first husband it shows her name as DIX not ELVIDGE
I hope this is clear
