Subject: [LegacyUG] Beware users of new IGI search function

March 23 2005 build.
I realize the IGI Search Function somehow was "accidentally" released in the previous build (which is amazing in and of
itself) but since it is here, and appears to be usable, I want to report that if you use this feature you should beware
of the "Rank%" figures.

Here is an example of a match that should have generated a "Rank%" value of 100 (or very close to it), but it achieved
only a value of 16:
exact match of given name,
exact match of surname,
exact match of Chr. date,
exact match of Chr. location,
exact match of burial date,
exact match of burial location,
exact match of baptism/temple.

My point is that this tool, which looks to have a lot of potential, has to be used cautiously. Don't think that you
absolutely don't have a match just because the ranking value is low. I don't know how well this tool does in it's
searches, but the ranking criteria is clearly, severely flawed.
