I think you helped me figure it out.  You have to use
the print feature with the filters.  And you have to
apply the filters correctly. 

I finally found a combination that worked by checking
"all categories", checking "all localities", checking
"all individuals" and selecting the repository and
checking only "research".  (at this time all my To Do
items are under research)I think I can make it work
like that for what I need .

I have always kept written To Do Lists and never tried
to use the To Do Lists in genealogy computer software
before and this is probably something I should have
known how to do but didn't know.

I do thank you, everyone, for trying to help.  And,
