Please, can someone help me?
I have been asking for help from Support, only because every time I sent an e-mail to the users group it came back so must have been using the wrong address - hopefully I have the right address this time.
I purchased the Legacy 5.0 disc and installed it a few months ago and recently decided to add pictures but found I cannot get pictures into Legacy 5.0. I'm not sure if I have the correct link. The manual and tips refer to PICTURE CENTER (which says is a very easy way to link many pictures to many individuals) and to reach the picture centre choose - picture centre from the view menu. When I go to view I cannot find picture centre only picture locations through master lists.
Can someone tell me if I should have picture centre? How do I go about fixing my problem? What format the link should be in and where it should be?

I can't tell you any better than the article on our website at http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Tips.asp "Pictures, Sound and Video: Multimedia Files" - that article has screen shots on how to do this, under the section "Adding and Scanning Pictures"
If you ever plan to upload webpages with pictures, you shouldn't have spaces
in a file name. Don't use a "dot" - that confuses things because a "dot" is
used to set the file name extension apart. You can string the words
together or put a dash or underscore in between them. Take a look at the
section in the article above on "Meaningful Filenames for Pictures"
That article on our website is really excellent and very detailed for help with working with pictures in Legacy.

Thanks for telling me what I'm probably not doing, but how do I navigate from Legacy to My Pictures or from My Pictures to Legacy? I have tried to link to my pictures but can't do it. Can you please spell it out for me? I seem to have problems with folders.
I have studied the Legacy users guide, checked tips, help, Cd's etc and there doesn't seem to be anything about linking to pictures, there's all soughts of other stuff on pictures.
Our pictures have spaces between the first and second name does this make a
difference or should we have a dot or underscore?

Did you navigate to the folder(s) where your pictures are stored? You need to navigate there - the program doesn't find them automatically.

I open the individuals information and click on picture, up comes picture gallery for Verna Jean Treloar - [1026]
I then click picture and up comes load picture, but it doesn't have a picture list, underneath there are folders: c:\ picture.
I looked at Managing Picture, sound and Video Locations prior to emailing you and have again checked it out, but cannot get it work.
I have not tried Legacy Pictures since upgrading to Legacy 5.0 and a couple months ago purchased a new XP computer.

What do you mean that no pictures are loaded? Do you get the picture list to select a picture? What happens when you select a picture?
