Dear List,

I am a new user of the Legacy Deluxe Edition Program, (Version 5.0.0.218,
Build 26 Mar 2005).  I joined this user group at the time of purchase and
have been lurking for the past 2-3 weeks and have been very impressed with
the quality of the contributions and information exchange.

I have a question that I am guessing will be a simple yes or no answer. By
way of background, I have done a Gedcom import from another package and have
about 1,300 relatives in my database. I have been exploring the program in
some detail over the past few weeks and am very impressed.

My query relates to what can be displayed or customised in the 'Family View
Tab'. From my exploration of the help files etc, I know that the fields
displayed down the left side, the defaults of which are; Born, Chr, Died,
Buried, DthCau, can be changed by the user to any of the listed other
fields. My question is whether or not the supplied list of fields can be
added to to include the various defined Events fields? In particular, I want
to replace 'Cause of death' with the relatives Occupation. The latter came
across with my Gedcom import into Legacy's 'Occupation' Event Field. The
Event fields do not appear in the list of fields one can select from when
customising what is displayed and I wonder if this is because of an option
not being turned on somewhere, or is it simply not possible?
