Martin,

Polypropylene sheet protectors (archival quality, acid free) are for sale at 
Sam's Clubs, Costco.

I do as Connie does, store the documents in them then in 3-ring binders. I 
use the Dollarhide system where you use the Reference Data Sheet number that 
you use in Legacy.

For photos I use an archival quality pen, brand is Zig to put the who, what, 
when & where on the upper back of photo. For me a separate card would not 
work, more to store and a possibility that it would become separated from 
the photo. Zig pens are at Wal-Mart in the scrapbook area of the crafts 
area.

I buy archival products to store WWI Army uniforms, quilts from Light 
Impressions. www.LightimpressionsDirect.com

Target stores carry Archival Mist to de-acidfy newspaper clippings etc.
