I don't - this "normal format" isn't universal and I see no need to squash every country into it - but at least it is easier to do with England etc than with Australia if you must do it.


If you do want to you need to solve the problem of UK or Great Britain etc and put the "shires" in the County spot, the Country in the State spot and UK or Great Britain ... in the Country spot.
The "shires" are called Counties and are the closest equivalent to the US states.


So you'd put eg: Sherborne, Dorset, England, UK
whereas I put: Sherborne, Dorset, England and keep away from the historic changes of the Union.


You'll find more in the archives about what the "country" may be called in varying time periods.
