Sherry,

I was helping a friend convert data from PAF 3.0. If the PAF 3 data is
imported directly into Legacy, it seems to work alright. But if the data is
first converted to PAF 5.2.18 (where it looks good) and then imported into
Legacy, it has lots of invalid dates. The dates look like the last date
modified but there are a few others. These invalid dates did not appear in
the PAF 3.0 to Legacy import.

I always believed that there was an issue with importing PAF 3 to PAF 5.
Someone once said that it was necessary to import PAF 3 to PAF 4 first and
then PAF 4 to PAF 5. Likewise PAF 2.31 to PAF 3. Anyway, here is an
example of where Legacy apparently can import PAF data from prior versions
better than PAF does. If you have any history on this conversion problem,
point me to it please.

Thanks
Ron Taylor
