Rob,

For what it is worth. I do a master source of the CA death records as I have 
lots of people in it, then in the detail I would source that this is the 
source for her maiden name. Then do a master source for the census and in 
the detail note this is the source for her given name. Then as you get more 
census you might want to source them for her given name. This way you could 
have many sources for her given or her maiden name.

 If you find a different given name I would do an AKA and source to it. I am 
thinking of maybe a given name of Elizabeth and also Eliza or her married 
name or names.
