Thanks John for taking the time to follow Sherry's directions and not having
any better luck at finding a warning that changing the event sentence was
retroactive. I have always tried to be very careful when trying something
new to check the manual and the online help before doing it. I don't know
where Sherry found the mention of that this would happen, I sure couldn't
find it either place.
I have been using Legacy since version 2 and when I printed out the Events -
Show List I have a stack of paper over half inch high. To have to go thru
this one by one to check each sentence is to me overwhelming. I am not a
quitter, I have been caregiver for my husband a 100% wartime disabled
veteran for over 40 years. Caregiver is hard for so long plus having to deal
with the Veterans Administration. No....I am not a quitter by a long shot,
but this event sentence problem just may be the final straw.
What are your thoughts if I was just to leave this Event Sentence problem
with some reading strangely and others correctly. I don't mean to be taking
the easy way out. Rather a 'is the cure worse than the ailment' In this case
the cure is a tremendous amount of time. If you have time I would appreciate
your thoughts on this.
Thank you,
