Where in the GEDCOM standard does it state that @Sub1@ is a pointer to
the submitter's name?  It doesn't.  The rules for a cross reference id:

"The cross-reference ID has a maximum of 22 characters, including the enclosing 
at signs (@), and it must be unique within the GEDCOM transmission."

and

"xref_id := [pointer ]"

and

"pointer := [(0x40) + alphanum + pointer_string + (0x40) ]"
where: 
(0x40)=@ 


that being said, @Sub1@ can point to anything.  Genbox user @Sm1@ to point
to submitter name.  Legacy uses @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
