Bill, Here's a link to a screen print that shows what the "pop-up" keyboard looks like on Windows Mobile devices.
http://www.northernhillssoftware.com/ScreenPrints/PocketPC/Legacy/LEG027.jpg You can also do "handwriting" input too but I find that the keyboard works better for me. It is small so if you want something better, you can get full size keyboards that work with the devices. These can either be "non-folding" or folding. (Some of the folding keyboards are almost as small as the device when folded) The HP folding keyboard I use with the h6315 is still just a tiny bit too small for me but is workable. (I'm 6' 5" so also have big fingers) The Targus folding keyboards are full size and look and feel just like a laptop keyboard. Here's a link to one of the Targus keyboards: http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=PA870U And here's a link that shows a number of different keyboards and thumbpads: http://www.enigmachat.com/keyboards%2Cc38336%2C1.html (I don't have any experience with the above vendor, but it was a good link to see the different versions) Kevin -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bill Daniels Sent: Tuesday, May 17, 2005 8:55 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Using Legacy with handhelds I have been reading intently about the PDA's and PG. Yet, there has been no discussion about the small typing area for inputting. I have very large fiingers. My problem is the PDA's small area for inputting as I have hit two or even three buttons then entering data. My son has a PDA and he writes on the screen. CAn any one elaborate on this function of the PDAs I go back to review an new PDA and see if the different companies are making something to help in this area.
