This is quite a good idea though I'm not sure how it would work in practice. Currently there is only a spot for noting that there are no children - which then shows on Family View - and no option to source this information.

Currently I put this information in Marriage Notes - especially when I'm only interested in one child currently and enter that child - but know there are others.

It's one of the reasons I change the wording for book reports to Known Children .../Known Child ...

Cathy

Hello,

I need a "children quantity notification" in Legacy. I do not know if
it already is somewhere there, or how to make it if there is not.
Anyway, this could be added to my wish list.

What exactly I need:

Sometimes, for certain families, I receive information that the family
had e.g. 5 children. But, the sources are not sure if there was the
sixth child. For other families I receive information there was one
child exactly, for sure. For such cases I would like to have an
indicator: one child only, two children only, six children possibly,
five children known,... or something similar.

Is there a way I make it besides by means of events? And, I would like
to have suvh information on the first panel, the family view, which I
cannot have by means of events, for I have already occupied all field
necessary.
