Hi Ed,

I tend to use the Descendant Book Report and print 2 or 3 generations to pdf in order to check - though first I use the Potential Problem reports.

Even when there are no typing etc errors, there can be formatting errors.

Which report you use I would think would depend on which reports you use most. I only use Family Group Sheets when I'm wanting to show a particular family what information I already have and what I need to complete their family information.

You can find everyone for whom you've made changes by doing a search for Modfied Date after xxxxx

To keep a record of whom you've checked, you could use one of the tag numbers. Note in Advanced Tagging you can put a note to indicate what a particular tag number means.

Hope that helps a bit,
Cathy

I'm guessing perhaps the best way is to print family group records,
selecting all marriages?

While I HOPE I've made no errors in typing, copying, pasting, if I have,
I do want to catch them right away!

I would guess there is also some way to tag recent changes/edits, and
re-print only those records for desk-checking?

And, finally, with the larger database (5000 names), it would be nice if
I had some easy way of flagging the names I've actually desk-checked.

Any suggestions for the best way of going about this?

  Ed
