Sue, To save yourself a lot of aggravation, you can set your options to NEVER issue a read receipt. That's what I did, and I haven't regretted it at all. By the message header, I see you use Outlook Express, so after some searching (I don't use Outlook Express, I use Outlook) I found how you can set the option so you are never asked if you want to send a return receipt request.
For Outlook Express only: Tool > Options > Receipts tab Then under the section called "Returning read receipts", select the option "Never send a read receipt". You will now never be bothered by a read receipt again. -- Debbie Schnell Woolard Want a Gmail account? A lot of the people on this list are completely ignorant about proper etiquette-otherwise they wouldn't send every damn post with a return reciept demand. They obviously can not be made to understand that function was NEVER meant to be used on a mailing list. There is absolutely no reason you need to know if every single person on this list read your posts. TURN IT OFF when posting here!! I wish the list administration would ban the people who insist on using read reciepts here. That is extremely poor etiquette.
