The child-parent relationships need sources BUT the information entered the
Legacy 5 way is lost in file transfers to all other genealogy programs and
earlier versions of Legacy.
"Too many" sources become a problem and are often left out of charts &
reports. Reader of a family history needs to know the BEST estimate of birth
dates and child order for a family.
One of the problems with editing family history in a word processor is that
names of some descendants and exact dates of birth may be unknown when a
book project is started. -- Elizabeth

Yes, I know about this method. But one could argue then that the ability to
source the new "Relationship to father/mother" was not needed because the
above method could have been used instead.
I am saying that to be consistent, the developers could have ALSO created a
way to source JUST the fact that two people were married. Just as they
created
a way to source the fact that X was the natural child of Y.
