Thanks Ron -- I've been noticing that yours got a few folks off their tails
to make noise for a fix! It seems a shame but noise seems a criterion!
I vote for solid code before trinkets every time!

Hi Ron,
Just had a look at your site and, as you say, it's fine now. I note that
two of the changes I suggested viz. the deletion of two lines (<.tr> and
</tr>) just below the arrows and change of <./tr> to <.table> just above
the line starting <.td width="580" .......> have been incorporated. These
are essential to the centralisation of the links.
The other change (changing <./tr> to <.table> just above the line
commencing <.td width="590"....>) is not necessary. I think I found this
necessary at the time because I worked from the bottom up when correcting
the Legacy code.
Like you I hope that this code will be corrected. I have asked before and
nothing happened so this time ????? Please.
Ron Ferguson

Replying to my own previous.
To report that the 15 html errors reported by Net Mechanic have now been
incorporated into our testing webpage. I then added top, left & bottom
borders to the edited page.
Guess what - the page now displays with borders as expected! It no
longer disintegrates when using a left border, and several other little
html fixes now make the page display as expected!
So have a look at
http://zelltree.com/pedtest/010htmlfixed_borders.htm
not because it's some sorta wonderful data or beautiful website work, but
to see that everything stays in it's proper place now!
I have one task yet ahead, which will be some relatively minor
rearranging of the image beside the Family Links box, which I believe
would make the format a bit more attractive and readable. I'll post once
more when that is finished and uploaded.
Then, Legacy programmers, it's time to fix your code for pedigree-style
webpages. PLEASE! I am only one Legacy user and have consumed the last
four days on just this one tiny website and one of it's pages, just to
help you find the problems. Do the math - you can make your pedigree
webpages work correctly and viable for adding borders, and save your
customers thousands of hours and frustration. So please please please!
thanks
RonKZ
