I am curious why anyone would want to use. They were originally used due to very limited field space in the early DOS genealogy programs, such as PAF where early entries will still reflect, and have pretty much been replaced with words such as about, possibly, probably, etc. which are much more descriptive and easily understood by others. I still see the occasional posting where someone will ask what they are and why used.

The estimating feature used to be in Legacy but was turned off. It would be
