But then it is entirely accurate if Mary never did marry.  On the other hand,
you can go to the marriage information screen and change the wording in
report pharses to read something like:

"procreated with an unknown individual"

which would print out in the descendant narative as:

"Mary procreated with an unknown individual.  They had one daughter: Ann."

Maybe Mary wasn't married to the father of Ann, but it isn't correct to say 
Mary never married in relation to one child if she later married and had 
other children.
